Well that was filmed in and around Vancouver...

I dig it.
What didn’t you like....t he video name, the car, or the price?
Or the not-so-subtle hint that Porsche is going electric?

Funny... looks a lot like Santa Barbara...

I still like this design. Fight me.

I always I always like the Targa but I would prefer a body color hoop.
I’m sure for just $
2995 Porsche would accommodate!

It’ll sell plenty to the unvetted fortune residency purchasers there.

Kind of reminds me of a Bentley PR release that called its customers “socially aware” or something similar.

Honestly seems like the best daily driver. Manual sporty GT car with good power but not too much, comfy interior, hard top benefits with sunny cruise fun. I could own one of these the rest of my life to commute and probably never tire of it as long as I had other cars.

Yep. The kids and I were always going to do a “Santa Barbara Psych Tour” of White Rock and Vancouver...

Yep. Sorry for the obscure Psych reference. Their “setting aerial shots” were all of Santa Barbara but anything on the ground? All White Rock and Vancouver.
You recognize this location?

I'm not a porsche lover, but this car does it for me. I'm never going to drive as fast as the car will go, I'll never drive it on a track, but I might go find a curvy road and get my heart rate up some and this seems like a pretty cool place to do it. I configured one and it came to $175,000 so it's all fantasy anyways. Beautiful car though, and I am surprised by how much I like it. I'm not sure why it appeals so much?

Hmmmm.
I’ve never even heard of that show until now,
let alone watched it
.

Yeah maybe I can win it in a future PCA members raffle? I didn't want the Taycan but I'd try for this.

I've never won a raffle. Maybe I'm due!

There’s one shot , down on the waterfront, where the sign CLEARLY says “White Rock Muffler Shop”. Then, we’d go find the location in White Rock with Google Earth Street View. Sure enough, it’s a muffler shop.
This place was used A LOT as a meeting point— “Coffee With Attitude”
As much as we make fun of it (they had two potted palm trees that were in EVERY outdoor shot to add SoCal color), the views out toward the islands were a passable take of the Santa Barbara Channel.
It’s a great show.

I was torn between liking the ‘95 (other than leaky roof) or previous version more when it came out as both were enjoyable. This newest one does very little for me. Then again I don’t look for more complicated electronics or newness.

Driving a convertible downtown in a big city is pretty great...
Assuming no traffic of course. Ha!

Must be hard to come up with a new misdirection strategy marketing strategy for what is effectively the same car year on year.
Interesting that they show a female driver, obviously in a futile attempt to convince people it’s not a car for old men.
